Village of South Blooming Grove Shuttle

Dear Village Residents,

We are excited to announce that starting TODAY, Monday, March 20, 2023, our new shuttle service will be up and running!

We have hired a manager for the buses, Mr. Dov Guttman, who will be overseeing the Shuttle Service.

Ticket books can be purchased at Village Hall and on the Shuttle.

In the coming days and weeks, we will be adjusting the routes and schedules based on your feedback, so please let us know what you think.

To access information on pricing, scheduling, and to submit feedback to the transit department, please call us at 845-782-2600 extension 600. You can also listen to the schedules to plan your transportation accordingly.

We are thrilled to offer this service to the community, and we hope it makes your daily commute easier and more convenient.

This initiative also furthers our initiative to reduce the amount of vehicles travleing village roads and to help reduce traffic and congestion in our Village.

Snow Emergency 3/13/2023 through 3/15/2023

Snow Emergency Monday – March 13, 2023 – 10:00 pm thru Wednesday – March 15, 2023 – 6:00 am

 

  • No Parking within the Municipal Roadway during any winter weather event or Snow Emergency.
  • The Village and/or it’s Highway Department will not be responsible for damage to any vehicle or personal property that is within the municipal roadway during a winter weather event or Snow Emergency.
  • Do not put any snow from your residential driveway and/or property into the municipal roadway.
  • The Villages Code Enforcement Officer will issue a summons if it is determined that a Resident is blatantly placing snow within the municipal roadway and therefore causing a hazard.
  • Mailboxes: Please make sure that your mailbox and its support post are “structurally” sound for normal municipal snowplowing operations.
  • All Vehicles and personal belongings must be kept back a minimum of 10’ from the curb line as top allow for normal plowing operations.
  • The Village will not be responsible for any vehicles or personal belongings that are within the Villages municipal “Right of Way”.
